Compatibility of the N-Com System with Motorcycle Communication Systems (MCS)

 

With the Multimedia Wire cables it is possible to connect your helmet (equipped with Bluetooth Kit2, Bluetooth Kit X-Series, Bluetooth Kit or Intercom Kit) to the audio system installed on the motorcycles (MCS = Motorcycle Communication System).

Connect the cable to the connector on the bike and to the rider’s helmet, by using the provided jack (3.5 mm ) situated on the helmet.

 

With this connection it is possible to keep the intercom connection and speak to the passenger through the X-Series system (configuration N-Com X-WIRE, N-Com X-DOUBLE). The passenger will also be able to listen to the audio coming from the motorcycle system.

 

Note: Should you desire to use the intercom system installed on the motorcycle, both the rider’s and the passenger’s helmets must be equipped with the Bluetooth Kit X-Series and be connected to the motorcycle by means of the Multimedia Wire MCS. With this configuration, the helmets MUST NOT be intercom connected  through the X-Series system.

 

 

Warning: Listening to other equipment  should not interfere with driving the vehicle, which must be the top priority
at all times. Carry out all operations on the electronic equipment and on the N-Com system with the vehicle stopped,
in compliance with Traffic Regulations.

 

Warning: Listening at high volumes can distract you from driving the vehicle and may result in dangerous situations
or reduce the ability to hear external noise. Adjust the volume before using the system on the road.

 

Warning: Adjust the volume of the N-Com system (if equipped) and of the audio sources connected to it to avoid audio reproduction at high volumes. Constant exposure to high audio volumes may damage your hearing.
