Bluetooth MP3 Players (A2DP)
BlueTooth Receiver (A2DP profile)
With N-com Bluetooth Kit2 or Bluetooth Kit X-Series you can listen to high-quality music by connecting the systems via Bluetooth to a music player equipped with Bluetooth A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) protocol.
Check with the manufacturer of the mobile phone or of the Mp3 player whether your device is equipped with the A2DP Bluetooth profile, or visit the website www.a2dp.info
Many mobile phones are now equipped with this particular Bluetooth profile and it is therefore possible to manage one’s phone calls and listen to music with just one wireless device.
If you have a music player with a A2DP Bluetooth device, it is possible to pair it up with the N-Com system to listen to music, keeping at the same time a Bluetooth connection with your mobile phone. When receiving a phone call, the N-Com automatically disconnects the audio reproduction.
Moreover, the N-Com system is equipped with the Bluetooth AVRCP (Audio Video Remote Control Profile) protocol, which is used to stop and restart music reproduction.
Note: If the A2DP music player is not equipped with the AVRCP protocol, it may not be possible to restart music reproduction from the helmet ( the interruption occurs anyway). In this case reproduction must be restarted manually from the music player.
Operation of A2DP music player + Intercom
Bluetooth wireless intercom
An A2DP music player and another N-Com system via Bluetooth (intercom mode) cannot be connected simultaneously.
• Stop the Bluetooth intercom mode manually (press “on” briefly) before starting the A2DP player.
• To restore the Bluetooth intercom mode, stop playing music (Press
for 2 seconds), then manually connect the intercom mode (press “on” briefly).
Intercom via cable
If you connect a second helmet via cable in intercom mode, the person wearing this helmet can listen to music played by the player (audio in Mono mode).
Warning: Listening to other equipment should not interfere with driving the vehicle, which must be the top priority
at all times. Carry out all operations on the electronic equipment and on the N-Com system with the vehicle stopped,
in compliance with Traffic Regulations.
Warning: Listening at high volumes can distract you from driving the vehicle and may result in dangerous situations
or reduce the ability to hear external noise. Adjust the volume before using the system on the road.
Warning: Adjust the volume of the N-Com system (if equipped) and of the audio sources connected to it to avoid
audio reproduction at high volumes. Constant exposure to high audio volumes may damage your hearing.
